Kendra and Phil are such an amazing couple and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this September here on Nantucket! For their Engagement Session we had a gorgeous summer day and they even brought their dog Belle along for the session! Their wedding will take place at their lovely home with a reception to follow at The Whaling Museum and we cannot wait to photograph their wedding weekend! As we strolled around Sconset it was great to get to know Kendra and Phil more, and to hear about their story….”Phil and I met a little over two years ago.  We have so much in common, but our mutual love for Nantucket was evident from the beginning.  I’ve been vacationing here since the mid-90s, first with friends and then also with family, and Phil has been coming here to sail for almost as long.  Phil & I came here for a day with our dog Belle when we first started dating, and then later for longer vacations.  Nantucket is also where we got engaged so it seemed like the perfect place to host our wedding.  We are really looking forward to celebrating our love with close friends and family in September!  Many of our guests have been here before, but for those who have not, we are excited to introduce them to one of our favorite places. “

It’s totally apparent that these two love Nantucket and it was so much fun spending time with them. We walked along the public bluff walk and visited one of my new favorite beach locations, there’s always new places to explore here on the island. Their sweet little dog Belle was wonderful and loved running around off leash at the beach. After our stroll we cruised over to Sankaty Lighthouse for a beautiful sunset.

From Kendra…”We had such a beautiful and fun evening for our engagement session, and loved wandering through Sconset our dog Belle. We visited many of our favorite familiar spots and Katie also showed us many new ones too.”
