It’s no secret that I love Nantucket and I’m always interested in what draws our couples to the island and why it is special to them…

“Nils and I started vacationing in Nantucket the first summer we were together and have returned every summer. It is a special place for us, most importantly because we have been able to share it with many of our friends and family over the years. We love being surrounded by water and were thrilled to have our engagement shoot on Nantucket, where we are getting married this June. It was a little bit chilly but we happily put our jackets on and took our shoes off to hit the beach for our pictures. The sunset ended up being really beautiful that evening by the Sconset lighthouse. Nils is an avid golfer so having the ocean on one side and a course on the other was the perfect setting for us!” Needless to say we are looking forward to their wedding in June! Their session was so much fun and as the sun sank below the horizon we were graced with beautiful evening skies. . . . furthering my theory that Nantucket never disappoints! Here’s to Springtime sunsets!
