Jane and Cam’s Nantucket Wedding – Siasconset Union Chapel and Sankaty Head Golf Club

Jane and Cam were married Sept. 1st 2018 at Siasconset Union Chapel and had their reception at Sankaty Head Golf Club. It was one of the nicest days we’ve ever seen on this island! As everyone enjoyed cocktail hour out on the green I over heard multiple times ‘Can you believe this day?!’ and ‘This weather is amazing, no humidity!’  with blue skies and sunshine Jane and Cam enjoyed a celebration to remember. The day started over at Jane’s family home near Cliff Road where everyone got ready and we loved photographing all of the little nieces and nephews there too. I photographed their rehearsal dinner the night before at The White Elephant and loved hearing more about how they met and their journey together! Jane and Cam are such fun and wonderful people and you will see that they value their friendships, as evidenced by the size of their amazing bridal party! We loved seeing a few familiar faces in their wedding party as we had met Jane originally when she was in her good friend’s wedding that we photographed last fall.

Here’s a few words from Jane and Cam about their wedding and love for Nantucket….”Our wedding was at Sankaty Head golf club. Fun fact, we actually signed our venue without ever having stepped foot on the property. We love Nantucket and the role it has played in our lives and the most important thing to us was being able share our favorite place with the most important people in our lives. It was definitely a major plus that it happens to be the most stunning venue and we had the most perfect weather! Nantucket is our home away from home. When we think of Nantucket, we think of it as an oasis- the minute we step on island we are able to exhale and just relax.”

After the most incredible day the guests enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets to date! Jane’s huge smile could be seen a mile away and these two were so much fun to photograph. They were constantly laughing and enjoying the moment.  They said it was….”The perfect Nantucket day surrounded by the most important people. Also the Sunset at Sankaty that day was second to none, and it was nice enjoying it just the two of us!”

With one of our busiest Septembers yet this was truly a great way to start! Jane and Cam have sent kind words over and over since the wedding weekend. When brides take a moment to write us right after the wedding it  truly makes our day and I can say the feeling is mutual, these two are so much fun and wonderful to work with!

Kind words from Jane….”We loved working with you, we had the best day and that was in large part because of your easy going demeanor and amazing work. Cam and I had the most spectacular day thanks to your level of professionalism and caring.”

To Jane, Cam and their families and friends we say thank you for being our type of couple, easy going, FUN and incredible on the dance floor too! We feel so thankful to photograph couples like you and we look forward to staying in touch!!

As always we love working with  so many of our favorite Nantucket Vendors! Jimmy Jaksic and his team did a great job coordinating and we can’t wait to see what Laura and Chris of Yellow Productions captured!! Special thanks to Cary Tozer for joining me to shoot this wedding!
