Happy Valentine’s Day from Katie Kaizer Photography!  There is SO much to be thankful for!! 2014 was another record year for us and a truly amazing year full of lovely weddings both near and far! One year ago today I spent Valentine’s Day on a plane ride back from Australia and it’s hard to believe all that’s happened in just one quick year! Many thanks to the talented team who worked with me this summer! We had so many good times together and I’m grateful for your help! Kathryn Kennedy, Cary Tozer and Mark Ranney….you guys are so talented and so much fun to work with. In addition to countless beautiful Nantucket weddings there were many traveling adventures….I traveled to Portland Oregon, Charleston, South Carolina, West Cork, Ireland, Ocho Rios, Jamaica (twice) and to Paradise Island, The Bahamas. Each and every wedding is so special, I am beyond thankful to meet so many fun couples and their friends and families. There are always a lot of laughs, smiles, emotions and memories made. Here are a few fun photos from 2014….

 

 

In addition to all the new friends we made I was so happy to photograph so many of our sweet friends…..from couples I’ve known forever, friends from our days of teaching snowboarding and two weddings for my classmates.  Our Nantucket community is so important to me and being able to help tell some of it’s great love stories through photography is an honor. Then there’s all the new couples we got to meet!!! I love meeting couples who travel from all over the world to spend their special day on Nantucket. Throughout our engagement sessions and wedding days I love sharing new locations with them.

Many of these weddings may already look familiar as they have been featured on WellWed, Classic Bride, Island Weddings, and there’s a few very exciting features coming up very soon!! For the 3rd year in a row Wedding Wire   awarded Katie Kaizer Photography with a ‘Bride’s Choice Award for 2015′ this award is based on the testimonials from my clients from the previous year.   Another highlight was when Bridebox.com named us one of the Top 20 Photographers in the Boston area.  To follow everything current check out the Katie Kaizer Photography Facebook Page, currently you’ll see lots of features and also the photos from our wild winter storm Juno.
