The moment you meet Elizabeth and Sheila  you can feel the love! These two are soulmates and have been together for over a decade, they live in Boston but love spending time on Nantucket. Photographing them on the island, a place near and dear to their heart, was truly magical.  We even ran into a cute father and son duo fishing off the little bridge and when the kid got a fish they even hopped in a few photos. It was so cute, especially because they were wearing Boston t-shirts, the city where Elizabeth and Sheila live!

These lovely ladies are getting married at The State Room this December right after Christmas! Needless to say we are excited to photograph their celebration! I was so happy to meet their tiny dog Kerry who also joined us for part of the session and I can’t wait to meet their friends and families. These kind words from the couple really made my day….

“We felt an immediate connection with Katie. She had a way of making us feel so comfortable like we were old friends. It was great to take photos at places we love as well as a few hidden gems that she shared with us. She was really able to capture our relationship and personalities. It was especially sweet for us to include our almost 15 year old pup Kerry in our photo shoot. We are really looking forward to having Katie photograph our wedding in Boston this December!”
