Meg and Ben were married on October 24th 2015 at The St. Paul’s Church and had a lovely reception after at The Nantucket Yacht Club. We were beyond happy when they reached out to us to photograph their wedding as we’ve known this amazing couple for several years on Nantucket. My brother and many of our friends were in the wedding party, we knew this was going to be a fun day!

With so many Nantucket ties it made sense when we heard they were planning a Nantucket Wedding and how they chose their venue for the Ceremony…..”Alot of our family and friends are from the island, we met on island, Ben’s parents got married at the St. Paul’s church 33 years ago. It was the perfect place for our ceremony!”

While getting to know Meg and Ben even more it became very clear that they wanted plenty of time for photos with just the two of them, and, their cute dog Peanut! We worked the timeline out so we had a lovely first look at Brant Point and also time for some sweet photos at the top of Main St. We drove in Ben’s father’s old Willys Jeep and as we reached the top of Main St. it was just perfect. The fall colors, the empty streets, the antique car and the beautiful couple!

“It was really special to have this personal time with Ben and me and peanut at Brant point. Ben is great at being in the spot light and I’m horrible at it. It’s kind of great that his favorite moment was our first look and my favorite was at the top of main after the ceremony since we both chose times  that we were https://modafprovig.com able to sneak away and have those “two of us” moments.”

The day went so smoothly and owe that to the amazing organization of the couple (Meg could easily become a Wedding Planner) and also their laid back and fun take on life. They are positive, happy and all  about spending fun time with their friends. We got some incredible photos of them on the dance floor all together! The Band was so good and everyone danced the night away. Here’s to Meg and Ben, two of the most fun and kind people we’ve met!
