Spring arrived on Nantucket just in time for this wonderful Nantucket Engagement Session! Christine and Harrison are one of our couples who had to postpone their original plan for a 2020 wedding, but let me tell you we are all very excited for their 2021 celebration this fall! Harrison’s Family has a longtime history with Nantucket spanning many generations and I loved hearing more of their story during our evening together. We started the session down at Children’s Beach around the gorgeous cherry blossom trees, made a little stop at Harrison’s family home to see their dog, Blue, and then finished up around some of their favorite locations in Madaket.

Christine and Harrison love spending time on Nantucket and they shared more about why they love the island. Harrison has family history here and now the two of them have made many memories together! Here’s a little more from the couple about why they love it here and chose to get married on the island.

From Harrison…..”Nantucket is home for me. My grandparents and extended family have always lived here year round and I have so many memories embedded into the spaces here. We moved around a lot when I was younger, and Nantucket was always a constant.  I always pictured myself getting married here and couldn’t wait to show it to Christine when we met. In fact, during her first visit to the island she made it into the Inquirer and Mirror… safe to say she fit right in.” From Christine…..”When Harrison and I first started dating I hadn’t known much about Nantucket besides from the stories my mom had shared with me about the romantic getaway her and my dad shared there early on in their marriage. Within just a few hours of being on the island for the first https://buysomapillsonline.com time, I felt like I finally “got it” – I understood why it meant so much to Harrison. There truly is nothing like Nantucket, especially visiting all of the places that have made such an impact on Harrison, it feels so right to be getting married here.”

I often say that from the moment I meet my clients they feel like old friends, and that couldn’t be more true with these two! We loved chatting about our rescue pups, all the jobs Harrison had growing up spending summers on Nantucket and of course their upcoming wedding plans! Christine and Harrison’s kind words about their experience with the session made me smile and they were absolute naturals infant of the camera!

Katie really encouraged us to just have a good time with it, and within just a few minutes our mouths were literally sore from smiling and laughing so much. She also went out of her way to get to know us and really make it personal. It felt so natural and we feel so lucky to reflect on this special time in our lives through these photos.”
