Allison and Jack met about 13 years ago in South Florida where they both grew up. They started dating their senior year of high school and have been blessed to have the journey of the past 10 years together. They got engaged a year and a half ago in Paris. When I asked Allison how they picked Nantucket for their wedding this was her response:
“We decided to have our wedding on Nantucket because we both fell in love with its beauty and charm when we visited several years ago. After we got engaged and decided we wanted an intimate destination type wedding and Nantucket instantly came to mind. We wanted to share the magic of the island with all of our family and family. We wanted everyone to have a little vacation as well. It all worked out perfectly!”
Allison and Jack were married on a perfect summer day at the
White Elephant on the lawn overlooking the sparkling harbor. They have an amazing history together and their friends and family were so overjoyed to come and support their marriage. During our walk down the docks we were also lucky to run into Dan Gault the first

During the rehearsal dinner I had heard about Allison and Jack’s fishing adventures so we thought it was fitting to do a fun photo with the fish. As the sun set over the harbor everyone enjoyed a delicious lobster dinner and a truly gorgeous evening.
From the bride:
“Jack and I cannot thank you enough for being part of our day. It was so great to meet you and I can’t tell you how many compliments I got from my family and friends on how nice you are and how easy you were to work with – that is exactly how Jack and I felt too! Thank you!”
I am so thankful to have met Allison and Jack and their wonderful group of friends and family. Photographing Allison and Jack during their wedding weekend was a pleasure. Their wedding was exactly what they had envisioned – a relaxed and lovely destination wedding in which everyone involved was able to enjoy the magic of Nantucket Island.
Wishing Allison and Jack all the best! Congratulations!
Enjoy –
