Julia and Nate were married on September 23rd 2017 on Nantucket. They had a wonderful ceremony at The Unitarian Universalist Church and enjoyed a wedding parade through town to their reception at The Nantucket Yacht Club.

I am still in awe of the kindness and joy that we felt the whole weekend being around this amazing couple! They also showed amazing patience in dealing with tropical storm Jose which showed up on the week of their wedding. Ferries and flights were canceled for 3 days leading up to the weekend but Julia, Nate and their families kept calm and had a positive attitude! In the end almost all of their guests managed to make the journey to Nantucket in the nick of time for their elebration and everyone was extra joyful to have made it!

From the bride….”It blew us away having all of our family and friends there together. Everyone braved through the storm to be there with us and we can never thank them enough. ”

I loved hearing more about Julia and Nate’s story…”Nate moved to my neighborhood when we were in middle school and I always knew him as the cute boy that rode the bus with me. We reconnected through mutual friends during college and have been inseparable since. It’s been special growing up together and experiencing so many different stages of life together. He’ll forever be my best friend. ”

There were so many wonderful moments throughout their day! After the wedding ceremony the rain had stopped and everyone walked through the beautiful streets of Nantucket! The pavement was still damp as the storm lingered, but all you could feel was warmth and love as this incredible group made it’s way to the wedding reception at The Nantucket Yacht Club!

From the couple….”We loved strolling through the cobblestone streets after the ceremony only to follow it up with a four hour dance party. The Mike Benjamin Band kept it rocking and had everyone on their feet.  We have always loved the Cape and Nantucket and now we have another great memory that we can share with our friends and family forever. ”

We are so happy for the newlyweds and look forward to seeing them again soon on Nantucket!
