Elizabeth and Mike were married on September 10th 2017 on the beach in Sconset. They had a wonderful luncheon reception at The Summer House with perfect late summer sunshine on their special day. Mike’s family has a home on Nantucket, and he grew up spending summers on the island. Elizabeth and Mike live in California but Nantucket was the perfect place for their wedding.  They love spending time here together.  It was a particularly windy day in Sconset when the couple got married at noontime overlooking the dunes, beach and ocean. Their wedding was small in size, and made for an intimate day with family and close friends.

I love these words from the Lee, mother of the bride, as she describes some of the special antique details of the wedding….”The heart I pinned on Elizabeth’s dress was carried by her paternal grandmother in her wedding in 1941 and the lace cap and trim on the veil was worn by Elizabeth’s maternal grandmother in her wedding in 1949. The ring box was made by the bride’s father in 1968 back when he was in high https://www.cdhfinechemical.com/cdh_data/xanax-alprazolam/ school! Lastly, Elizabeth’s god mother made the Nantucket wave quilt for Mike & Elizabeth that was on the piano with old wedding photos.”

We love when family history is woven into the wedding day, all of Elizabeth and Mike’s details were very meaningful and thoughtful.

We wish Elizabeth and Mike a lifetime of happiness and hope to see them again soon on Nantucket!
