Dani and Sam were married on June 21st 2018 surrounded by immediate family and a few close friends. Their wedding was on The Summer Solstice and the evening was magical, the perfect way to welcome summer and this wonderful marriage! They had a lovely ceremony at St. Mary’s Church and then we all went to Brant Point Lighthouse for photos, a cheers and a few laughs. This couple lives on Nantucket, Dani is a nurse and Sam is an electrician and they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. I have known them for years, when they asked if we would be their photographers I was honored. We had a great Nantucket Engagement Session with their dogs and I knew the wedding day would also be a lot of fun! Their wedding day was special for so many reasons….

“The part that made our wedding so special was being able to have our day on the beautiful place that we live. Every single person we saw, spent time with, who fed us, who made us feel beautiful treated us like a king and queen. It truly felt like all the talented and wonderful people in this community gave us the biggest hug that will last forever. ”

Such sweet words from Dani and Sam! I loved seeing all of their friend’s kids run up to Dani after the ceremony and give her hugs and love! As they drove away from the church in their awesome 1969 Meyer’s Manx tow’d ‘Clementine’ everyone cheered them on with congratulations. So happy for the newlyweds and we can’t wait to see them around soon on the island!
