We couldn’t be happier for Cristin and Hayley! These ladies know how to have FUN and they were beyond adorable dancing in the shore break at the end of the evening! From the buoy wall in town, walking the docks and Madaket, we loved getting to know this couple! They are sincere, kind, fearless and funny….these two are getting married a year from now and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding on Nantucket! The island is special to them for so many reasons….

“Hayley’s fathers, Bill and Gary, have a special relationship with the island since moving there in 2012. They have built a community around them and have shared that with us over the past few years. The island has so much to offer. We couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate. Both of us coming from the East Coast and spending a lot of time by the ocean, Nantucket felt like a place that complimented the things that make us feel at home.”

Photographing Cristin and Hayley felt more like hanging out with old friends than work, it made me feel extra thankful to do what I love for a living! I had met with them earlier in the day and got to see the location where there wedding will be next year, the property is absolutely stunning! We had so many fun phone calls over the past few months that by the time we met it truly felt like we already knew each other. They were so nice to share these kind words about our session…

“For two type-A, strong personalities, we were actually a little nervous. That was shed really quickly by how comfortable that we felt with Katie and Cary. The whole session completely exceeded our expectations. It was a blast to be able to jump in and out of the car, finding nooks and crannies of the island to chase the sunset and get the most out of our time. The locations were incredibly romantic. They made it easy for us to feel comfortable, capturing our true selves.”
