Cami and Jim were married Sept 30^th 2017 on Nantucket! They had a heartfelt ceremony at St. Mary’s Church with their officiant, Father John Unni, who has known Jim’s Family life for a long time. The ceremony was personal, full of sentimental moments and very humorous.

Working with Cami and Jim leading up to the wedding was so much fun, they are such kind and wonderful people! We had a beautiful night for their Nantucket Engagement Photos and many fun meetings before the big day.  By the time the wedding weekend arrived it felt like I had made two new friends!

Here is a little more about Cami and Jim’s love for Nantucket….

“I have been coming to Nantucket since I was 5 days old! It has always been a special place for my family and became an important place to Jim as well. He proposed on Dionis beach last summer and we knew right away this was where we wanted to get married. Nantucket is beautiful and we wanted to show our guests our favorite views and places throughout the weekend. Friday and Sunday’s events were on the water so we loved the contrast of Nantucket Golf Club.  Jim is a huge golfer, the views are great and the team at NGC were amazing!”

From Cami…..”We watched the show Friday Night Lights quite a few times when we first started dating and to this day is one of our faves. It was fun to see how this ended up being a part of the weekend – from including our puppy Lyla (Garrity) to quotes being used in the toasts AND the priest even ended the homily with “clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.”  We were nervous about the weather but just so grateful all of our friends and family were able to make it. We even lucked out with two spectacular sun sets for our wedding weekend!”

“We had so much fun being able to celebrate with all of our family and friends. We each have 3 siblings plus siblings-in-law and wanted everyone to be a part of the wedding. That is part of why our wedding parties were so big! When I was in college I worked at Straight Wharf, and since, all of my siblings have worked there too! We loved getting to celebrate there with a bridal lunch Friday, late-night Saturday and Sunday brunch. Scott, Gabriel and Chris put together some beautiful events for us! We also had our welcome party at Ventuno, their sister restaurant. I was so excited to see everyone and it was so much fun getting to start the weekend early! All weekend I was too excited to sleep and never wanted it to end!”

After the bubble exit from the church guests enjoyed cocktails over at Harbor View before hading out to the beautiful reception at The Nantucket Golf Club. We stopped by a family home on Hulbert Avenue for group photos and cobble stone hill for some really fun portraits of Cami and Jim with their amazing dog Lyla, a super sweet Golden Retriver! From there we were greeted with dramatic skies at The Nantucket Golf Club that made for some of my favorite sunset portraits to date!

“Seeing Cami walk down aisle….having all my buddy’s around Friday to golf and getting ready before the ceremony…..dancing around all night, on shoulders, on the stage, and the first dance with my bride.
Having our priest actually quote Friday Night Lights in a church ‘Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.’ Also hearing all of our friends and family toast us on Friday and Saturday was really special.”

We can’t wait to see Cami, Jim, their families and Lyla again soon on Nantucket!
