Their wedding day was full of beautiful special details and very heartfelt words from everyone who spoke. Their ceremony  was very personal as the officiant has been a friend of their family for years. A few words from our couple…..”The wedding ceremony was at Sconset Chapel. Beautiful in its simplicity, it was the perfect sacred place for us to get married. We were fortunate enough to have Monsignor Robert Clerkin, a close childhood friend of my late father that also baptized me, perform the Catholic ceremony. It was really special. The reception was at the Wauwinet, our favorite Nantucket retreat! There were many special moments on the wedding day! My mother’s blessing to Kevin  at the end of the ceremony was definitely a very special moment. Another would be at the reception when the sommelier poured us the wine that we had brought from our engagement trip to Italy last year while we listened to the speeches.”

We loved the open air tent overlooking the water and sunset at The Wauwinet. Their day was one of those special September days that you can only appreciate if you’ve experienced it! I am sure Anne and Kevin were happy to share this with their closest family and friends. They love the island and spend so much time here that it’s become a very special place to them.

When I had asked them at their Engagement Session what they love about the island, their reply was “Everything!” and I loved their answer…. “We love the seemingly endless, beautiful beaches and the feeling of remoteness when you find a new path to a beach you haven’t http://www.papsociety.org/accutane-isotretinoin/ explored before (and are sometimes the only one there!). We also love the variety of vibes the island offers — it always seems to satisfy whatever mood we are in at any given time.  Whether it’s a quite family beach day, live music and afternoon cocktails at the brewery, a show at White Heron, or a fancy dinner in town followed by the Box! Each area of the island has such a unique and special feel, and I think that is rare to find.”

After the speeches their dance party lasted well into the night and as usual we loved working with so many of our vendor friends and thank you to Nantucket Island Events for all of their fabulous work!
