Cara and Michael were married on August 19th 2017 at The Dreamland Theater on Nantucket. They had a Welcome Party the night before at The Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum of Nantucket and everyone enjoyed a whole weekend of celebrating this lovely couple. Cara and Michael each have three fabulous children and it was an honor to photograph their wedding as two families became one. Their kids walked them down the aisle and also participated in a sand ceremony as they all poured different color sand into a jar to signify their new togetherness. The theme of family was strong throughout their heartfelt day!
Here’s a little more from the couple…”Nantucket was the first vacation we took as a couple. I remember feeling overwhelmed by its beauty and magic. We wanted to share that with our family and friends. We never though twice about anywhere else.”
Their wedding was nothing short of exciting as they even had a very special surprise guest! a while back Cara had told Michael on a trip to Vegas that she wanted to get married there…..that she wanted Elvis to marry them! Little did she know that years later Michael had secretly arranged for Elvis to travel to Nantucket and surprise her at their wedding! As Michael gave a welcome speech he told the story and right on cue Elvis walked into the reception! He officiated another little ceremony and serenaded the crowd with a few of his hit songs!
From the bride…”The Elvis surprise was the best. Mike has an amazing way of making all my dreams a reality.” Cara https://propfinast.com said it best, I think true love is finding someone who makes your dreams come true! Looks like Cara and Michael are indeed the perfect fit! We are so honored to have been their photographers. Their dance party was one of the best we’ve ever seen too, the kids danced all night! Wishing Cara, Michael and their wonderful children lots of happiness!
Special thanks to Cary Tozer for photographing this wedding with me!

The following photos are the laughter after one of the wedding rings bounced onto the ground! Luckily it didn’t roll off the balcony, it rolled towards the front row of guests!
