During the month of March I spent time photographing the work of Project Have Hope in the Acholi Quarter outside of Kampala City, Uganda. This group works to improve the lives of women in the Acholi Quarter through eduction, vocational training and loans. The group is made up of about 100 women in the quarter and they support each other to reach their goals and to improve their lives. While I was there I took video footage and conducted interviews. This is a short video in which they tell some of their story. There will be a longer version in the future. Many thanks to Karen Sparacio (founder of Project Have Hope) and to all the women of Project Have Hope.
